Brunswick, GA (October 29, 2025) – On Wednesday morning, twenty local nonprofits representing Glynn, Camden, and McIntosh counties were recognized through the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation’s (CCGF) annual William Bernard McCloud Community Impact Awards.

These organizations were celebrated for their dedication to improving lives and creating lasting change across Coastal Georgia. The William Bernard McCloud Community Impact Awards—named in honor of former board member and community leader Bernard McCloud—provide vital operational support to local nonprofit organizations working to strengthen our region. Each year, the program recognizes outstanding local efforts that embody the spirit of collaboration and service.

This year, 54 organizations applied for the Community Impact Grant, creating a competitive selection cycle. Each application represented meaningful work taking place across the region, making the decision process both inspiring and challenging. Following careful review, 20 nonprofits were selected, including eleven first-time recipients, with grants this year totaling $250,000 in support of their community initiatives.

“These organizations remind us of what’s possible when people come together for the common good,” said Keeva Kase, President and CEO of CCGF. “Their work uplifts families, strengthens neighborhoods, and ensures that Coastal Georgia continues to thrive.”

This year’s award recipients reflect the spirit of service and collaboration that strengthens communities across Coastal Georgia:
