Glynn Community Crisis Center is in need funding for the formulation of its 2011-2016 Strategic Plan Glynn Community Crisis Center, Inc has provided services to victims of domestic violence in our community since 1983. What once was Amity House, a safe house providing emergency shelter for families, has now grown to encompass so much more. Amity House, Hope House and the Outreach programs support families and provide assistance including a 24 hour crisis line, advocacy, counseling, legal, financial and relocation assistance. In 2009 GCCC added its newest program Hope House transitional housing and support. Victims leaving Amity House can reside in Hope House for up to two years while gaining support and saving money to move into permanent housing.

In 2008 GCCC adopted the vision of "Caring for victims of domestic violence." In the coming years GCCC hopes to meet the challenge of providing services to this challenged population into the next decade. Funds will be used to retain an experienced and qualified facilitator, facilities and supplies.
