Rich's Consumer Brands Charitable Fund grants $25,000 to CIA

A new charitable fund at the Community Foundation established by the Consumer Brands Division of Rich Products Corp. made its first-ever donation July 20, awarding a $25,000 grant to the nonprofit Children In Action Sports Club, a Brunswick-based ministry serving children ages 7-12.  The Rich’s contribution will help fund the nonprofit organization’s after-school program and summer sports camps for children in the Glynn County area.

Foundation Awards Grant to Juvenile Court

The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 Community Impact Grant to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for Glynn County Juvenile Court. The award will allow the KidsNet Glynn program to serve more participants. The diversion program provides behavior management, family advocacy and parent education to youth and families involved with the juvenile court, with the goal of reducing commitments and recidivism.

Foundation Awards 2016 Community Impact Grants

At its recent meeting, the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation voted to award grants, totaling $62,000, to sixteen (16) community-based organizations serving Glynn, Camden and McIntosh counties. The 2016 competitive grant cycle focused on programs serving at-risk youth and their families.
