Sons of the American Revolution Receive Literacy Grant

The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation recently awarded a grant to the local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution for their efforts to make history come alive for local students.

Community Foundation Qualifies Tri-county Area as a Certified Literate Community Program (CLCP) Participant

Months of meetings by multiple committees working through a rigorous certification application paid off handsomely when the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation was notified in early August that coastal Georgia had been accepted into the state Certified Literate Community Program.
